Trichocereus pachanoi 'San Pedro Cactus' Highlights:

  • Trichocereus pachanoi 'San Pedro Cactus' is a fast-growing columnar cactus that grows to form a small tree.
  • Easily propagated from offsets.
  • Produce large white flowers that typically bloom during the night  in the spring and remain open during the day.
  • Hardy to Zone 9 (20° F). Trichocereus pachanoi will not survive a hard frost. If there is only a risk of freezing temperatures for a few days, most succulents do just fine outside if they are covered by frost cloth or a sheet until temperatures increase (I'm talking to you, Zone 9 friends). There are reports of Trichocereus pachanoi being cold hardy to 10° F, but we haven't personally tested this.
Trichocereus Care: As with all cactus, it is best to follow a "soak and dry" schedule where you water your plants deeply (until water runs out the bottom drain holes), and then allow your soil to dry completely before watering again. Cactus should always be planted in well-draining cactus and succulent soil and in a pot or container that has drain holes.

Ok for an aggressive chewer but not the best
Color: Pink
O Jane an aggressive chewer. This has held up ok. But she still occasionally gets pieces chewed off.

Don’t waste your money. Your dog will be eating plastic…
Color: Pink
My dog ends up chewing the plastic ends which is destructible, so I took it away from her. She loved it though and the colors are cute. But eating plastic isn’t ever a good thing. I recommend sticking to actual bones or something else, not this.
