The Fender Santa Ana Overdrive brings classic amp-inspired grit to your pedalboard in a compact, stage-ready format. Designed by Fender’s in-house team, this all-original circuit captures the touch sensitivity and dynamic response players love about vintage tube amplifiers — but with the reliability and convenience of modern stompbox design. Whether you’re adding a subtle edge to a clean tone or pushing into thick, saturated drive, the Santa Ana delivers smooth, amp-like overdrive with impressive clarity and responsiveness.
At the heart of the Santa Ana is FET-based technology engineered to emulate tube-style breakup. It reacts beautifully to your picking dynamics and guitar volume control — roll back for clean, articulate tones or dig in for added grit and sustain. The dual “A” and “B” voicings offer tonal flexibility, while the comprehensive tone controls let you shape everything from mid-focused blues leads to tight, punchy rock rhythm textures.
Built for real-world performance, the anodized aluminum chassis is lightweight yet rugged. LED-backlit knobs make settings easy to see on dark stages, and the classic Fender amp jewel LED adds a distinctive visual touch. A magnetically latched battery door allows quick 9V swaps, and the pedal can also run on a standard 9V DC center-negative adapter (150mA minimum).
