Belle of Ashwood Daylily
The lovely 'Belle of Ashwood' daylily is simply stunning. Large, 5 1/2" blooms are a clear pink outlined with a gold bubbled edge, making a gorgeous contrast to its deep green throat. These lovely blooms sit atop scapes 28" tall in our East Tennessee garden. Nice rebloom makes this daylily even better!
As an early to mid season bloomer, we begin to see the sensational blooms of Belle of Ashwood around the first of June. If you live to our north, you'll see them a bit after we do. If you live to our south, you'll notice them a couple of weeks before us. Good rebloom means you'll get to see Belle of Ashwood off and on throughout the season.
Belle of Ashwood is a dormant daylily. That means it is best grown in areas that receive a sustained winter cold period like those in zones 8 and lower.
We think Belle of Ashwood looks fabulous when planted with any color in the garden but its gorgeous edge really pops when planted with bright gold or brilliant yellow daylilies.
