The Xotic EP Booster is a faithful recreation of the famous boost circuit that was part of the EP-3 Tape Delay units of yesteryear. The Boost generated by the old tape-delay units was a pretty unique tone that caused many users to utilize the EP-3 for nothing more than the sweet boost. Thanks to Xotic you can harness that EP Boost in a pedal half the size of a standard effects pedal.

We've captured that magic in a new Xotic Effects pedal, the EP Booster. We've used the highest quality parts available with a discrete FET design and low impedance output, the EP Booster provides up to +20dB of unadulterated boost with multi-dimensional, shimmering highs and lows, and no ear fatigue. The internal DIP switches let you choose the boost frequencies, and EQ settings.
