Amazing and inspiring
Format: Paperback
As a young transgender person this book fills me with a lot of hope for my future. I relate to his story so much. He gives me hope that one day I can medically transition even if itโll be difficult. I would suggest this book to transgender people who are 14 and older. And if you read this one make sure to read the second one!

As a transmasc person who was an emo kid at a similar time, this really hits home!
Wonderfully illustrated and full of character and humor while being true to the struggles and reality.

Really Wanted to Love This Book
Format: Paperback
I grew up in a time where there were very few LBGTQ books and I felt very much an anomaly. I heard great things about this book and wanted to read it. I found the book to be written super simply and not adding much to the conversation. I am glad it exists but it was super simplistic and it really doesnโt add much to the conversations around transitioning. It might be a great book for a kid just starting to figure out who they are. I left this book in a free library in a public space in hopes it gets read by someone who needs the message.
